Marcel Breuer Furniture
Marcel Breuer is considered one of the masters of Modernism who displayed interest in modular construction and simple forms. Breuer not only studied at the Bauhaus in the 1920's, but also taught there. Breuer pioneered the design of tubular steel furniture. The Wassily Chair designed in 1925, was the first bent tubular steel chair and was perhaps the most widely-recognized chair Breuer designed.
